Welcome to the historic Kickapoo Lodge in. The property was purchased from the Estate of Dorothy Nursie. Young, who owned the property from 1951 until her death on July 2, 2000. Ms Young, known to her friends as Nursie. Was a nurse who served as First Lieutenant in the U. Army Nurse Corps during World War II, from March 3, 1941 to February 4, 1946. One of her major accomplishments was featured in the recent movie. At Kickapoo Lodge and enjoyed annual reunions.
